B.D.Baggies shirts, successfully combining unique taste with a careful selection of materials, treatments and comfortable designs, quickly became a valid alternative to T-shirts. Over the years, B.D.Baggies collections have been enriched with ever new models, ranging from the most classic oxford button-down to the addition of minimal sweatshirts, long-sleeved polo shirts, jersey tees and fine cashmere sweaters. 

David Mullen, the designer who made the brand the reality we know today, brought to the brand the experience he gained during years of consulting for major American brands. Maintaining B.D.Baggies' heritage, Mullen's creativity is behind the brand's success, which became an impressive phenomenon of the 1980s American fashion scene and the yuppie scene. One of the pioneers of the lived-in shirt concept, Mullen perfectly and elegantly reinterpreted the preppy culture of American Ivy League universities and, by adding a youthful sense of casualness and softness, made B.D. Baggies the quintessential American shirt brand. And it is precisely the casualness of these shirts that gave birth to the brand's philosophy: models as easy to wear as T-shirts. Today, B.D. Baggies continues to celebrate American style, the use of pre-washed and soft fabrics such as cotton, linen and denim, as well as innovative yarns, which anticipated the evolution of technology.
