Maintaining B.D.Baggies' heritage, Mullen's creativity is behind the brand's success, which became an impressive phenomenon of the 1980s American fashion scene and the yuppie scene. One of the pioneers of the lived-in shirt concept, Mullen perfectly and elegantly reinterpreted the preppy culture of American Ivy League universities and, by adding a youthful sense of casualness and softness, made B.D. Baggies the quintessential American shirt brand. And it is precisely the casualness of these shirts that gave birth to the brand's philosophy: models as easy to wear as T-shirts. Today, B.D.
